SAPS operation leads to two arrests

Drugs found on two suspects arrested during a SAPS operation held in the CBD on Thursday.

During the police operation held in the CBD, new police officers arrested two suspects at 11am.

Capt Johannes Ramphora, Springs police spokesman, says the new officers conducted the operation including stop and search.

The suspects are 19 and 20 years old.

“We call on the community to support us to provide a safe and secure environment,” he says.

The suspects will appear in the Springs Regional Court soon.
