Gold One employees enjoy family fun day

Simunye brass band members Thabo Masango (24) tuba, Sifiso Lukhele (11) alto horn, Thami Madikane (34) tuba, Musa Mahlobo (24) trumpet, Sbusiso Sivea (14) trombone, and Thabo Thinqe, sousaphone.

With a huge play area, good music and loads of fun activities Gold One employees and their families had a blast.

The fun day’s main focus was on keeping the children entertained and allowing the parents to have some much needed down time.

There were trampolines with harnesses that gave room for children to jump as high up as they could, jungle gyms, a paintball station and lots more to keep children occupied.

The children received a nutritional breakfast box, while a tasty lunch was served to all adults.

Vusi Sheba (18), son of an employee at Gold One said, “We are so excited to be here today, our parents have been planning outfits for this event for weeks”.

The Simunye brass band was a hit among parents with their soulful sounds lingering in the air.

“Happiness is contagious and through our music we want to spread love and joy,” said Thami Madikane, a member of the band.
