Be positive to attract positive outcomes

With all the negative energies infesting our society, practising the law of attraction in my opinion is important.

In philosophy, the law of attraction is the belief that focusing on positive or negative thoughts that one may have brings positive or negative experiences into one’s life.

This teaching is based on the idea that people and their thoughts are made from pure energy, and that through the process of “like energy attracting like energy” a person can improve their health, wealth and personal relationships.

I conducted my own experiment on whether or not this ‘law’ actually works.

The idea of always seeing positivity in every aspect of my life seemed tedious and impossible at first, until I slowly began to apply it in my day-to-day routine.

Each time I am faced with an impossible situation or task, I stop for a brief moment and allow all the emotions of anxiety and frustration to leave my body through breathing exercises.

I learnt that to achieve this new thinking of transferring all my negative energies into positive energy (effectively) I had to change my negative thinking patterns.

I realised that I couldn’t just wish the negative energy away or convince myself that I wasn’t having a terrible day.

But I had to feel (through creative visualisation) that the desired changes had already occurred.
