Metro looking into Addie fountain pump problem

Thokozani Malinga,is proud to keep the Addie fountain garden clean.

In response to a complaint about the pump at the Addie fountain on the corner of Zig Zag and Ermelo roads, metro spokesperson Themba Gadebe says they are aware the pump is not working and are procuring the parts to fix it.

“We hope it will be fixed soon,” says Gadebe.

Springs business owner José Celestino says it is good news.

“Once the metro starts working on the pump, we can discuss a possible power point for the Christmas lights I plan to put up,” he says.

Celestino hopes the metro will fix the pump before Christmas.
